Program Details

The local business community has been very hard-hit by the "public safety" crisis on our streets. The photo shown here is local. 911 response is fast and professional, but weak policies and revolving door practices have done nothing but escalate tragedy. Outcry is necessary to get the attention of policymakers.
Local business owners and concerned advocates from across the spectrum will join together on this panel to discuss what they've begun to do, and share ideas for effective programs and methodologies. Obviously, the "status quo" is not working and won't until important changes take place.
Lyle Sorenson ("Public Safety Matters") has been sharing a tremendous amount of news and information on Facebook; check that out. He'll lead and moderate this forum, joined by local businessman, entrepreneur and community activist Steve Avila, and others.
We've reached out to many local businesses; please get the word out. Lots of stories and useful ideas will be shared. We expect that the Q&A to be much "more than" the typical banter in the local press.
Again, guests are welcome. The doors will open officially at 11:30 am.
