Rosa Koire, Executive Director of the Post Sustainability Institute (Santa Rosa, CA), spoke at Western Washington University on October 2, 2012 at the invitation of WWU's College Republicans. Ms. Koire is author of "Behind the Green Mask," a solid source of information about the United Nations' alliances with non-governmental and governmental groups seeking to erect Communitarianism as the dominant form of world governance through the systematic dismantling of liberty. This educational presentation is recommended by the Northwest Business Club.
Dr. Roger Stark is a health care policy analyst at the Washington Policy Center and a retired physician. He spoke about what to expect in patient and provider care from policymakers, businesses, providers and the health care industry following the Court's landmark ruling. He reviewed bills passed in the recent legislative session, actions taken by the governor's to establish the state health insurance exchange with board members; and he explained the effect the Supreme Court ruling will have on insurance, businesses, hospitals and doctors.
This forward-looking presentation offered a broad world-view and a bold strategy for human progress and an end to poverty that would leave no nation behind. The keys to a bright future are liberty, free markets, innovation, and a commitment to not trash the planet along the way. Followed by Q&A and discussion about the danger of crippling “sustainability” theories and policy that could set-back real human progress.
Presentation, Discussion and Q&A on the proposed "Bellingham Bill of Rights" at the Northwest Business Club featuring local activist Stoney Bird, followed by analysis by Washington Policy Center representative Paul Guppy, VP of Research.
